The North Bay Cultural Plan will enable the city to take a more strategic and integrated approach to the development of our important cultural resources. This plan will also help integrate cultural resources and cultural planning with economic and broader community development agendas in the city.
Cultural Plan goals include:
- Building a strong knowledge base about existing cultural resources in North Bay through cultural mapping and assessment;
- Using that knowledge to inform concrete strategies and actions to guide the development and coordination of cultural assets and activities;
- Supporting stronger coordination and collaboration across cultural organizations and activities;
- Broadening community awareness of North Bay’s rich and diverse range of cultural resources and activities.
